The first Krylon products were created more than 50 years ago by two gentlemen named Foster & Kester. At the time, they were manufacturing a clear acrylic coating that was used to protect artwork and print advertisements.

Today, Krylon Products Group is the largest aerosol paint manufacturer in the world. In addition to hundreds of products for industrial use, Krylon Products Group also makes general purpose products and automotive products.

Corporate Affiliation Krylon Industrial is part of The Sherwin-Williams Company, the largest paint and coatings manufacturer in the US. Sherwin-Williams has been making coatings and applicators since 1866.
