Power Transmission Belts

From synchronous to vee multi-rib to flat to banded v-belts, Jason offers the nation's largest and most complete stock of power transmission belts for every need, whether standard or metric. They also maintain an extensive stock of belt sleeves to meet customized specifications, including one-piece banded v-belts to make up any number of ribs. Non-Stock widths of synchronous and/or multi-rib flat belts are cut and shipped the same day - an exclusive Jason service. Their Accu-Link adjustable v-belt is the ideal temporary replacement belt to keep your critical drives running. They stock many specialty belts and a full line of lawn & garden belts, along with a complete line of v-belt sheaves, synchronous pulleys and bushings.

Urethane Power Transmission Belts

Jason's urethane power transmission belts are made of wear-resistant polyurethane specially formulated for synchronous belt applications. All their urethane belts are embedded with tough steel tensile cords for chemical resistance, dimensional stability and cleanliness of operations. Open end belting is available with special backings, and also with a nylon facing wear surface on either or both sides. Their urethane belts offer:

• UV, ozone, hydrolysis, oil, grease and gasoline resistance, good resistance to acids
• temperature ranges between -30 degrees C to 85 degrees C
• weldable to other thermoplastics
• 98 percent efficiency

Industrial Hose and Couplings

From rubber to PVC, TPR and TPE, Jason has an extensive line of industrial hose. Through distribution, they've satisfied the demands of contractors, rental yards, municipalities and utilities. Their hose is used throughout many industries including food, agriculture, mining, paper, steel, and ship refurbishing. Long length mandrel-made rubber hose uses the latest technology in manufacturing and rubber compounding. New formulations in PVC have led to advances in TPR (Thermoplastic rubber) and TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) hose that provides optimum performance at economical costs. Their continuous research and development provides their customers with stronger, more flexible and lighter weight hose at affordable prices.

A variety of couplings and accessories are offered by Jason in aluminum, bronze, stainless steel, ductile iron, steel, polypropylene and glass-filled nylon. Great care is taken in their chemistry and testing to ensure that their couplings and accessory metal and plastics conform to ASTM standards.

Jason's couplings and accessories are used on hoses that move everything from acetic acid to zinc sulfate, from air to water. they provide threads cut to four national codes and can cut threads to any particular city or municipal code or foreign requirement.

They also uniquely offer a line of brass couplings, adapters and nozzles for foreign-flagged ships entering U.S. ports. These couplings and accessories are designed for fire fighting aboard ships and deck wash-down.

From concept or reproduction to prototype and production, Jason can provide the right custom molded rubber and plastic part at the right price. Working with the customer's design team or from customer specifications, their professional engineering staff can produce both prototypes and short- and long run production quantities. Their in-house mold making capabilities ensure that products are produced to exact customer specification, while saving customers valuable time and money over the cost of creating an outside mold. Jason also offers specialty compounds and colors, as well as bonding to fabrics, plastics, and metals. An in-house machine shop is employed for inserts.

A wide variety of industries, including the food processing, packaging, ceramic, and textile industries, rely on vee and round urethane belting to solve all types of conveying problems. Made of a polymer compound that provides high strength, oil, chemical and abrasion resistance, vee and round urethane belts are available in a range of sizes, hardness, and friction coefficients to meet every application requirement. Most are FDA/USDA approved. Vee and round urethane belting can be easily field spliced to minimize process downtime during belt replacement. Inexpensive tool kits are available from Jason. They can also provide special profiles for OEM applications including Ridgetop, Supergrip, Dual and other custom designs.
